THE ORIGIN OF OUR PASSION

OUR PASSION FOR QUALITY BEGINS AT ORIGIN, ENSURING THAT WE CAN TRACE THE BEANS BACK TO THE FARM WHERE THEY WERE GROWN. OUR TEAM OF ARTISAN ROASTERS SOURCE ONLY THE FINEST COFFEE, ROAST TO STRICT SPECIFICATIONS, TO ENSURE THE FULLEST FLAVOUR AND TASTE.

TASTING NOTES ON THE HOUSE

Our house blend is designed for milk based coffee. It has huge depth and structure. A big dark chocolate body dominates the cup with gentle soft choc mousse texture just under the surface. Drinking further down the cup, flavours of caramel popcorn come to mind with a creamy marzipan finish.

DID YOU KNOW?

SINGLE ORIGINS & MICROLOTS

Our single origin and microlot offerings are rotated fortnightly. This means that your taste and experience will constantly evolve as we continue to source new and exciting beans.

Our sourcing philosophy is strict on both quality and ethical standards. We are extremely proud to be one of the only espresso bar groups who genuinely has a direct-trade link with our coffee farmers. Basically this means that we actively visit the source of origin every year and buy directly from our farmers.

Over the years we have donated a lot of time, energy and money into helping these communities in both improving their farming standards and living conditions. This in turn means that they will receive the best price possible for each harvest.

Our coffee selection criteria is based on the SCAA standard. All of our beans have received a minimum score of 82 points out of 100. Our varietals are 100% Arabica and are processed using a combination of natural, washed, semi-washed, pulp-natural and monsoon methods depending on farmer and region.
